EZ GEL PRE-CARE & POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

 


 

 PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS (Before Your Appointment)

7 Days Before

  • Avoid blood-thinning products: ibuprofen, aspirin, Advil, Aleve, fish oil, vitamin E, turmeric, ginkgo, ginseng (unless prescribed).

  • Avoid alcohol and smoking.

  • No facials, peels, lasers, waxing, or exfoliating treatments on the treatment area.

  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

  • If prone to cold sores and treating lips, contact your provider about an antiviral medication.

24–48 Hours Before

  • Avoid alcohol completely.

  • Reduce caffeine intake.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise, heat, or saunas.

  • Stop use of retinol, AHA/BHA acids, or exfoliants on the area.

Day of Appointment

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.

  • Eat a light meal beforehand.

  • Wear comfortable clothing.

 


 

POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS (After Your EZ Gel Treatment)

0–24 Hours

  • Mild redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness is normal.

  • Apply a cold compress for 10 minutes at a time (do not apply ice directly to the skin).

  • Do NOT touch, rub, or massage the area.

  • Avoid makeup on the treated area for the first 24 hours.

  • Avoid exercise, heat, hot showers, saunas, and sweating.

24–48 Hours

  • Continue to avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol.

  • Sleep on your back with your head elevated.

  • Keep the area clean and avoid pressure on the site.

Days 3–7

  • You may apply makeup if there is no irritation.

  • Continue avoiding heat exposure (saunas, steam rooms).

  • Do not massage lumps or bumps unless advised by your provider.

Healing Expectations

  • Bruising/swelling: 1–7 days

  • Initial settling: 1–2 weeks

  • Full results: 2–6 weeks (EZ Gel improves gradually as the regenerative matrix forms)

 


 

When to Contact Your Provider

Seek medical attention if you experience:

  • Severe or worsening swelling after 48 hours

  • Intense pain, excessive heat, or skin color changes

  • Fever, pus, or signs of infection

  • Nodules or firmness that do not improve over 2–3 weeks
